Christian Bale is back on the promotional trail following the assault accusations leveled against him by his mom and sister.

The actor showed up to the Barcelona premiere of The Dark Knight on Thursday evening.

Christian posed for pictures but bypassed reporters and their pesky questions.

Bale was accompanied by his wife, Sandra 'Sibi' Blazic.

Wifey is said to be at the center of Sunday night's controversy. Christian's mom said some NOT SO NICE things about her.

That really pissed him off!

Being an emo kid could be illegal in Russia soon!

The government is trying to pass a laws that would heavily regulate emo websites and ban emo and goth dress style in schools and government buildings.

The new laws are apparently being driven by fears that "emo" encourages depression and suicide.

There were mass protests by Russian emo kids this past weekend.

Dmitry Gilevich of Russian emo band MAIO said at a protest, "Expressing psychological emotions is not forbidden by law."

Poor emo kids!

Hey serial daters!

If you think breaking things off by voicemail is a-OK, there's a new mobile service out in the market place that's just for you, according to a new report.

A service called Slydial lets you connect directly with another person's cell phone voicemail by bypassing the traditional ringing process.

You no longer have to wait til he's on the subway or she's on a plane to place the stressful break up call!

Or if you're too chicken to ask someone out on a date, don't speak to them and be guaranteed to get their vm.

Sounds perrrrfect!

Recipients of the Slydial call would get a voicemail notification, and sometimes a 'missed call' notification.

But, there are constraints to this service. It can only be used in the U.S. right now, and generally won't work with prepaid cell phones.

Also, "Sly" dialers must have the caller ID feature activated on their phones to prevent people from using it to harass people undetected.

The founder of Slydial, thinks it can be useful not only in the dating scene, but also in the hectic business world, "Everybody has gone through the scenario where they've called somebody and just hoped they got voicemail so they didn't have to have a conversation."

True, true!

We gotta say that breakup by Slydial is definitely more humane than breakup by text!

As we mentioned earlier this week, homophobe and hate monger Michael Savage completely trashed all autistic children and their parents on his radio show recently.

Most memorably when he said "I’ll tell you what autism is. In 99% percent of the cases, it’s a brat who hasn’t been told to cut the act out. That’s what autism is.”

And now, finally, some radio stations are fighting back.

Making a step in the right direction is Mississippi.

Steve Davenport, head of the Super Talk network in Mississippi, called Savage's remarks "beyond inexcusable."

The network of seven stations has announced they will no longer carry Savage's radio show, Savage Nation, after his ridiculous remarks.

Davenport continues, “Effective immediately, Michael Savage and his Savage Nation Radio Show have been cancelled on all Super Talk Mississippi stations,”

Savage has also lost a major advertiser for his program in AFLAC insurance.

A statement released by the company says, “AFLAC has a strong commitment to helping children through the AFLAC Cancer Center and AFLAC foundation. We understand that radio hosts pick on any number of targets however we found his recent comments about autistic children to be both inappropriate and insensitive.”

Savage on the other hand is trying to validate what he said.

On his website, Savage writes, “My comments about autism were meant to boldly awaken parents and children to the medical community’s attempt to label too many children or adults as ‘autistic.’”

But if that were the case, why would he say that the problem with most autistic kids is that "They don’t have a father around to tell them: ‘Don’t act like a moron. You’ll get nowhere in life.”

John Gilmore, executive director of Autism United, says "We are asking him to be fired and we want to make advertisers aware of what he is broadcasting.”

And the comic book heroes just keep coming to the cinema!

The next hero to be transformed from the comics to film will be Hercules. And, no, the TV version, Kevin Sorbo, won't be reprising his role from the '90s show.

The flick will be directed by Peter Berg, who also directed Hancock and will be based on the five-issue comicbook series by Steve Moore.

The movie, which will be called Hercules: The Thracian Wars, is said to stay true to the comicbook.

Producer Larry Levine says, "What resonated for them was that this was character driven, about a character who’s more man than god, with conflicts and redemption."

We not sure we'd classify Hercules in the same category as Superman, Batman, and Spiderman. He just seems more mythical to us.

A British paper is claiming that Peaches Geldof's collapse / drug overdose on Sunday was caused by her inadvertently inhaling fumes from hair dye.

Apparently, she forgot to open a window while dyeing her hair.

Ha! How much hair dye did she sniff?!

Keep in mind that paramedics were called to the scene to revive Peaches after she lost consciousness AND she asked for the incident to be kept secret.

American Vogue may be in the shitter, but Italian Vogue is red hot!

Its 'all black' July issue was so popular that they went back and reprinted 10,000 issues for the US market.

The July Italian Vogue featured only black models in its editorial spreads.

Who said people of color don't sell magazines???

The notorious Naomi Campbell was the cover girl.

Photog Stephen Meisel, though, said that there was a "glaring lack" of black models in the advertisements.

Fashion houses Valentino, Prada, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana and Dior featured white models.

Hopefully all magazines will show more diversity in every issue!
